Guests are in for a lucky suprise with this cosy cottage, set within the area which 'roofed the world'. This delightful cottage has been decorated and refurbished to a very good standard.

This is a very cosy mid-terrace property in Tanygrisiau. We stayed as a family with two teenage sons and they loved it. It is in an ideal location for strolling in to Blaenau Ffestiniog and riding the railway and Zip World. It's a short drive to Porthmadog and Port Merrion or you can take the steam train from the village station into Porthmadog and on to Caernarfon. The cottage sits in the shadow of the Moelwyn Hills and there is some fantastic trails and treks into the hills from the village. The walk up to the top of the Stwlan Dam, which forms part of the Ffestiniog Hydro Electric power station, is a must and the views from the top are awesome! All on a paved road, but it is long and pretty steep in places. All in all we couldn't fault the cottage or it's location and may return again.

Lovely little cottage, perfect for our family of 4 and dog. Very considered utensils and maps which we utilised. The play park opposite was used daily and stunning views all around. Comfortable accommodation and a shower that worked well.

Me and my friend had a fantastic time away staying in this cottage. The property wowed us as soon as we arrived. It was spotlessly tidy. I really liked the cosiness and charm of the property, the wood flooring, wood fire and more. The location was great, everywhere we wanted to go was within a short drive away, the railway, Snowdon, lakes, forest walks, nearby town. The scenery everywhere we went was breathtaking, a world away from home! I would definitely consider staying at this property again, I have nothing but find memories of my holiday.

The property has everything that you need for a week away. The location is stunning, there are plenty of walks that can be done right from the property. If you love exploring then the slate mines are amazing. I would highly recomend go below underground adventures if you like adrenaline pumping adventure. The only bad thing about the property was that the beds could have been more comfortable but apart from that its a great place to stay.



Another highly satisfying stay in this cottage.

We were welcomed in the very clean house. It was our second stay there so we new what to expect and we chose this cottage. We were blessed with the weather. Long walks finished with the Trish and Chips take away (highly recommended). Amazing views, stunning weather, nice people around and comfy bed at night.
